Plan Your Visit to the Daintree

Daintree rainforest

Every package is built around you — your stay, your pace, your goals. Get in touch and we will put something together that fits your visit.

TRAINING IN THE OLDEST RAINFOREST ON EARTH

Daintree Thai Boxing sits inside the Daintree rainforest — the oldest tropical rainforest on the planet. Training here is unlike anything you will find in a city gym.

Sessions happen on the beach at Cow Bay or in forest clearings with the sound of the rainforest all around. Kru Din coaches at whatever pace suits you — this is about the experience as much as the technique.

WHAT A TYPICAL DAY LOOKS LIKE

Morning: A free session is available daily at 6 AM. Start the day moving. The air is cool, the beach is empty, and the light through the palms is something else.

Training session: One-on-one or small group Muay Thai with Kru Din. We go at your pace — learning the basics, doing pad rounds, or working harder if you want to. Sixty to ninety minutes depending on the day.

Recovery: After training, head to Alexandra Creek for a cold water recovery swim. The creek runs through the rainforest and hits a deep pool that is perfect for cooling down and switching off.

Afternoon: Time is yours. Walk the Jindalba boardwalk into the forest, drive up to the Daintree Lookout, take the ferry across and explore Cape Tribulation, or just sit under the palms and read a book. There is no schedule.

Evening: Another session if you want one, or leave it at one for the day. Plenty of food options nearby and a genuinely quiet night — no nightlife, just the sounds of the rainforest.

ACCOMMODATION

There are two small motel units on site — comfortable, clean, and right at the training location. You wake up and you are already there.

For something with more space or a more premium feel, there are several excellent BnBs in the area. We can point you to the right ones and help make arrangements if needed.

WHO THIS IS FOR

This is for people who want more than just a training camp. Travellers in Far North Queensland who want to do something different. Couples or small groups looking for an active holiday. Anyone who has always wanted to try Muay Thai and wants to do it somewhere extraordinary rather than in a suburban gym.

No experience required. The training is tailored entirely to you.
